Saffire Pro 10 i/o focusrite

The Saffire PRO 10 i/o from Focusrite is a FireWire based audio interface with eight preamps, suitable for both music recording professionals and enthusiasts. Whether for use in a fixed installation or for a mobile setup, the bus-powered unit can provide a total of twenty inputs and outputs, along with two headphones outputs.

In addition to the eight preamps, the interface has eight line inputs, two of which can function as Direct Inject (DI) inputs. Digital connectivity is paired down to two channels of coaxial S/PDIF, and does not include the ADAT I/O of the Saffire Pro 26. Also employed are high performance 24-bit digital converters, ensuring maximum signal quality throughout the audio path.

The Saffire PRO 10 i/o includes a set of plug-ins in VST and Audio Unit formats that comprising EQ, compression, amp simulation and reverb. For global control and set-up, the SaffireControl PRO software application provides advanced monitoring options and hardware settings. Also included are MIDI input and output connectors.
